Motherly jealousy
This is a person who loves us greatly and who will never let us down. No matter how strong love of some person is, he or she will never love you just as strong as your mother does. Though, sometimes such love brings a number of troubles and sufferings for a child. The enormous love of a mother makes her blind so she never knows when it is high time to let her child live on its own. Mothers always believe that there is no one who knows better what a child need, they also believe that a child itself doesn't know it.
In most cases the motherly jealousy is typical for mothers who have sons. There is no such jealousy of those mothers who have daughters. This kind of jealousy is rather destructive feeling that usually becomes a reason for child's sufferings and troubles. Say, there is a mother who has a son. Sure, she loves her son greatly and she does her best in order to make him happy and to protect him against troubles. A mother recognises her son as the product of her love towards her husband, and also as a copy of a man she is in love with. That is the reasons for strong and sometimes fanatic care of mother about her son. She is a woman herself and so she knows how cruel they are and that they are able to do a number of things in order to get what they want.
So, once her beloved baby finds a woman he is in love is a mother's jealousy takes its development. From the very moment she sees the woman she knows that it is rather cruel and cunning person who doesn't love her son but wants to get some profits on his amount. She is sure that no one except her is able to love her son. The situation takes turn to worth once she notices that her son is in love with that cruel and cunning creature. So, a number of thoughts appear in her had and a number of ways of protecting her son against that cruel creature.
Though, indeed that is just a reveal of motherly jealousy and nothing more. Usually there is no single reason for a mother to recognise a girl on that way, though you will never manage to prove it to her. So, a mother imagines that she leads an honourable struggle for the happiness of her son. She is also sure that she does nothing wrong as all her deeds are caused with good intentions. But, as you know the hell is paved with good intentions. And this is a phrase that reveals the whole point of the motherly jealousy.
The deeds she performs will never result in happiness of her son and will never bring him inner calm. Usually, such campaign for saving a private son ends with a tragedy for both, or it is better to say for all three. Sometimes, it is possible to assure such mother that a girl is in love with her son and is thirsty for nothing but his happiness. In this case the conflict will be settled though after a number of years of quarrels and fights for love of a son. Though, it is also possible that no one will manage to stop her and finally she reaches her goal. And that goal is to dispose a cruel creature of the life of her son. In other words the struggle ends with tragedy and loneliness of her son.
